ASPHALT REPAIR

If you’re not ready to repave your parking lot but it needs to have repairs made to it, there are several things to know that will make a big difference in the quality of the work. Some contractors will perform cheap “skim patches” in which they install new asphalt over the damaged area of pavement. The damaged asphalt is not a suitable foundation for the new layer of asphalt and will not last long. We will sawcut and remove the damaged asphalt. We will then apply asphalt tack to “glue” the old and the new pavement together. This will result in a repair that will last for many years.
